This website is intended to provide you with general information about several legal services that I can provide.   Having been a commercial and commercial litigation lawyer for over 30 years, I believe that my experience will be of benefit to you in the following matters:-

  1. Commercial lawyer: I am a Victorian solicitor, having continuously practiced in Melbourne since 1982. My main areas of work are in commercial litigation and related commercial matters, acting for individuals and small businesses.
  1. Mediator: I am an accredited Mediator, registered under the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS). Read more about mediation here.I have also developed a new method of mediation – Worldview Mediation™ and Silver Lining Mediation™ – which takes into account several factors not usually considered in classical mediation scenarios.
  1. Arbitrator: I am a Graded Arbitrator with the Resolution Institute (formerly LEADR/IAMA). I obtained my Professional Certificate in Arbitrationwith High Distinction from the University of Adelaide. I have also developed a unique form of community arbitration, initially to be used within the Jewish community, with a complete set of Rules to ensure arbitration awards are compatible with Part 8 of the the Commercial Arbitration Act 2011 (Victoria) – Recognition and Enforcement of Awards.   1. Independent Solicitors Certificates: The new Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria) came into effect on 1 July 2015. From that date, new forms and extra conditions have to be met when you are applying for, or guaranteeing, loans.   Sometimes the parties require two (2) solicitors from two (2) independent firms. We have two (2) separate solicitors with their own separate principal practicing certificates that can do this. We are also available in East St Kilda late after hours and on Sundays.
